COVID-19: Important information for your stay at our hotel

Ladies and gentlemen,
dear guests,

We take your safety and well-being, as well as the one of our employees, as our utmost priority; therefore we have implemented and adhere to the highest standards of safety, hygiene and disinfection to address COVID-19 in collaboration with international medical experts and following the recommendations of the Robert-Koch Institute and the current Corona ordinance of the federal state of North-Rhine-Westphalia. Please note that the federal regulations are subject to constant change, therefore all information on this website is without guarantee. We try to keep the information as up-to-date as possible.

An overview of our measures to ensure the safety of our guests and employees in the different hotel areas:



Who is authorised to stay at our hotel?

At an incidence rate below 10, persons from the same district are exempt from the testing rule. Persons from other district are exempt from the test requirement, if also in their district the 7-day incidence rate was demonstrably 10 or less at departure. From an incidence rate of 35 or higher, a negative antigen test certificate must be presented every 3 days.


Is the wearing of a mask mandatory in the hotel?

Yes, it is mandatory to wear a surgical mask or an FFP2 mask at all times in all public hotel areas.

Is there the possibility of digital contact tracing?

No, all data relevant to contact tracing in our hotel is collected manually.


Household restrictions:

Only people from max. 2 different households are allowed to share a hotel room.


Further measures taken by the hotel:

  • Disinfectant dispensers are available in all public hotel areas.
  • Our hygiene measures are signposted and there are markers for keeping the right distance.
  • Public areas are cleaned and disinfected at a higher frequency.
  • Access to lifts, public hotel areas and toilets is limited to a certain number of people. For more information, please refer to the on-site signage.
  • For the protection of guests and employees the front desk is secured with acrylic glass panes.
  • During stays of 3 days or less, the hotel room will only be cleaned after your departure. If you are staying longer than that, you can request cleaning inbetween at the front desk.
  • You can buy beverages to take away at the front desk.




Currently, we do not offer our breakfast buffet. Instead you can order a breakfast box to go at the front desk in advance. The box costs €7.50 and contains:

  • 1 coffee to go
  • 1 sandwich box (different options available, also vegetarian)
  • 1 box of mineral water
  • 1 yoghurt (fruit; different flavours)
  • 1 cereal bar


Hotel bar

The hotel bar unfortunately remains closed until further notice. However, you can buy beverages to take away at the front desk.


Room service

Due to the current situation we do not offer room service until further notice.
